Sew Mariana

Mariana is a quilt pattern designer known for her clever construction tricks, clear directions, and abundance of colorful step-by-step graphics, which make her seemingly-intricate designs surprisingly easy to make. As a graphic designer and self-taught quilter, Mariana’s goal is to make her patterns fun and accessible to quilters at all levels, helping them avoid frustration and enjoy the creative process. Sew Mariana is full of bold colors, plays on perspective, and achievable dynamic designs. Above all, her focus is on making the process fun and stress free for her audience to enjoy. She also designed a Creative Grids ruler: the 4-in-1 Hexie Ruler, to make it even easier for quilters to achieve great results on her patterns that involve triangles, diamonds and hexagons.
