LDH Scissors

Founded in 1990 just outside Hong Kong, in Shenzhen, LDH Scissors began when a young couple simply needed better-quality sewing scissors. Built on the values of Love, Dedication, and Happiness, the company has been serving the sewing community ever since. In 2018, their son Roy and his wife Ursula brought the business to Toronto, where it continues to thrive as an immigrant-, female-, and family-owned company.

Today, every pair of scissors is still handcrafted and hand-finished in our family’s factories. Aside from a few safety steps handled by machine, the grinding, sharpening, assembly, and adjustment are all done by skilled artisans. This blend of tradition, quality, and family spirit has made LDH Scissors a trusted choice for sewists, quilters, and makers around the world.
