Seats Available?: Sold Out Required Supplies: Fabric (5" squares and 2.5" squares) in 2-3 color families in a mix of light, medium, and dark fabrics. Students will roughly want 3-4 yards of fabric either from scraps or pre-cuts.
Optional Supplies: - seam roller - flannel/batting to use as a design wall
Prep Requirements: Please have all fabrics cut to 5" squares and 2.5" squares. Charm packs and mini charm packs will work well.
One of the best parts of quilting is the unexpected gathering and use of fabrics that appear to not belong. Everything can work together, it’s just about how you use it! In this workshop, students will learn how to use color to direct movement across a quilt, blending colors that may seem to not work together. Students will learn to use color they might typically avoid, and embrace the improv nature of quilting.
