Fee Details: Zippers, interfacing, and a PDF pattern.

Required Supplies:
- $15 materials fee for workshop materials kit (Cash please, extra kits will be available).
- Printed copy of Improv Pouch pattern (PDF provided at a later date)
- Printed copy of Zip Tips Zine (PDF provided at a later date) - you”ll learn how to fold this in class!
- 2 coordinating FQ’s
- Scissors
- Stiletto or Purple Thang
- Seam ripper
- Clover clips
- Pins
- Pen & notebook for taking notes

Optional Supplies:
- Woven tags (Sarah Hearts or similar)
- Rotary mat/cutter/ruler (these are provided in the classroom, but having some extras will allow all students to move along through each step quickly).

Prep Requirements:
Cut fabric:
Fabric A:
(1) pouch front 8” x 11” - this can be one fabric, or patchwork.
(1) pouch back 8” x 11”
(1) wrist loop 2 1/2” x 12”
(1) zipper end 1 1/2” x 5”

Fabric B:
(2) pouch lining 8” x 11”
If you wish to use patchwork for the pouch front, please do this before class starts, and trim it to 8” x 11”.

If you wish to have a wrist loop - prepare the wrist loop before class: fold/press and stitch the wrist loop (pattern step 3). Note that the wrist loop is optional and you may choose to not add a loop to your pouch.

Please also fold and press the zipper end fabric (pattern step 4).

If you are looking at the pattern, you may do step 1, 3, and 4 before class.. Do not progress past step four.
