In this engaging workshop, Carolina guides students through the process of designing and creating a stunning mini quilt top measuring 18” x 22”. This hands-on experience will help students refine essential skills such as drawing, cutting, and sewing intricate curves—transforming simple fabrics into striking works of art.
Students will explore a range of design variations, encouraging playful experimentation with color gradients and transitions. This workshop focuses on manipulating value, gradation, and hue to create dynamic compositions full of movement and contrast.
With Carolina’s expert instruction, students will learn how to cut complex fabric shapes and gain confidence in machine sewing curved forms. By the end of the workshop, each student will have completed a visually compelling mini quilt and developed the skills to bring their own creative quilt designs to life.
