Multiple colored papers (Color Aid)
This is a workshop for quilters who want to explore the magical effects of color in their creations. Through fun paper exercises, students will learn how different colors work together to create vibrant and captivating effects. This workshop will inspire quilters to see color in a whole new light. Students will learn by creating small color composition with colored papers the following topics, how to create depth and distance, how to create luminosity using color, and how to create a transparency effect. Carolina will also cover strategies to locate color in their compositions, understanding which colors recedes and advance, and how to create balance and contrast or a focal point in a composition.
