To make sure your EQ8 is ready, please log onto the computer you will be using in class at least a week before you leave home. Make sure that your computer is connected to the Internet and then open EQ8. This will validate your EQ license if you have not used this computer and/or EQ8 in a while. Activation happens behind the scenes when the computer is connected to the internet. It’s very important to do this before class as we will not have time in class to get EQ8 activated and working properly. - Power cord for the laptop

Looking for ways to create interesting and new blocks using EQ8? Electric Quilt has a special set of Serendipity functions including Frame, Tilt, Merge, Clip & Flip, Shrink & Flip, Kaleidoscope, and Fancy Star functions that can create new and interesting blocks for your quilt designs. This is an intermediate EQ8 workshop that assumes that students have a basic understanding of EQ8 and can navigate the program well.
Students must bring their own laptop and power supply, with EQ8 installed and activated.
