Prep Requirements: - Please check the size chart before class to determine your size. Once you know your size, you can calculate how much yardage you’ll need to bring. - We will be making an unlined dress during this session. - To maximize sewing time, it’s best to cut your pattern pieces in your chosen size before class. In this creative and confidence-building workshop, students will learn all the tips and tricks for designing and sewing their very own quilt dress. Dee will guide students through the simple, zipper-free, button-free pattern she uses—making the process approachable and fun for quilters of all levels.
While students work with fabric they've brought to practice the technique, Dee will demonstrate the process on an actual quilt top. She’ll share how to avoid common pitfalls, strengthen seams, and answer questions along the way.
By the end of the session, students will leave with the skills and confidence to make their own quilt dress, plus plenty of inspiration from Dee’s collection of beautifully sewn examples.
