Unlock the hidden beauty in your fabric stash with Fussy Cutting Magic, a playful and precise workshop exploring English Paper Piecing (EPP) with hexagons. Guided by Lorena, students will learn how to use mirrors, acrylic templates, and their keen eye to find repeating motifs and reveal stunning secondary patterns hidden in printed fabrics.
This workshop focuses on how to select fabrics with fussy cutting potential - what to look for, what to avoid, and how to audition prints for the strongest visual impact. Students will use hexagon paper pieces and hand stitching techniques to create kaleidoscopic designs, building confidence and control in your stitching while honing your sense of symmetry and design.
Lorena will share tips on efficient cutting, hand stitching, and how to build a small collection of EPP tools that make a big difference. This workshop is suitable for all skill levels, especially those new to fussy cutting or EPP.
Bring your curiosity and prepare to see your fabrics in a whole new light!
