Discover the bold possibilities of stripes in this exciting workshop focused on fussy cutting for maximum visual impact. In Dynamic Hypnotic, students will learn how to take striped fabrics beyond borders and bindings, using them as the hero of their quilt designs! Lorena will guide students through her process of selecting, auditioning, and fussy cutting striped fabrics to create hypnotic, dynamic quilt blocks with rhythm and movement. This workshop will explore how symmetry, repetition and rotation can transform simple stripes into bold geometric illusions - no special rulers required.
Ideal for confident beginners and experienced quilters alike, the session builds skills in working with directional prints, enhancing contrast, and creating visual flow. Students will leave with striking sample blocks and fresh inspiration for using stripes in future projects.
