Required Supplies: - Pencils and eraser - Colored pencils (You don’t need a ton: 5-10 should be enough, but if you love color you’re welcome to bring more) - Graph Paper - 3-5 photos of traditional quilts you like for inspiration - Paper scissors - $10 kit fee
Combining traditional quilt designs with modern quilt elements can appear challenging until we break down the components of both traditional and modern quilt designs and re-write our own rules to design a modern traditional quilt. In this no-sew workshop, Jen will help students study the elements of traditional and modern quilts and practice ways to modernize a traditional quilt design. Students will leave this workshop with the skills to design and create your own modern traditional quilt.
