In this fun, hands-on workshop, students will head out for a relaxed walk around the Raleigh Convention Center to find inspiration in the everyday sights around them. With phones or DSLR cameras in hand, they'll snap photos of anything that sparks a creative idea—textures, patterns, colors, or shapes. Back in the classroom, everyone will take a look at their photos and work on translating them into a quilt design using paper and pencils. The session wraps up with a group chat about how to turn those sketches into real quilts!
