In this vibrant and creative session, Sarah guides students through hand piecing a playful take on the classic log cabin block. Letting the fabric lead the way, students can choose to work with bold, large pieces that showcase their personal style or experiment with narrow strips to build dynamic color stories. The goal is a 10" square block—but creative freedom is encouraged.
Once blocks are pieced, Sarah will share with students a variety of hand quilting techniques to add texture and personality. She'll also demonstrate her favorite methods for finishing, from simple bindings to polished faced edges.
Full of color, conversation, and shared stories, this workshop is a celebration of quilting in all its joy and creativity.
