Use your quilt’s seam lines as a guide to stitch geometric free-motion designs that are a great alternative to straight-line quilting. When you embrace texture over perfection, anything is possible! Workshop exercises include sketching out the designs, quilting a variety of smaller practice samples, and a discussion about how to apply these motifs to a “real” full-sized quilt.
Students will learn a variety of modern motifs that can be scaled to any size to fit their quilts. Leave this workshop armed with the confidence that you can indeed quilt your own quilts!
Sewing machines generously provided by event sponsors!
