Bertha is back. Two years ago, QuiltCon was captivated by the tragic and true story of Bertha Meckstroth (b. 1875-1960) and Mary Fons’s quest to locate the artist’s missing quilts. Since then, Mary has discovered way more about the woman’s extraordinary life and work. In this lecture, Mary will catch folks up on the backstory and share her latest findings in a story that just keeps getting better.
