Tisha Thorne

Tisha Thorne is a certified sewing and quilting instructor that has been teaching in the DC area and throughout the country for more than three decades. Tisha is passionate about teaching her students of all ages about sewing. She has led sewing programs at organizations such as the White House, the National Children's Museum, the Smithsonian, Howard University Hospital, Hancock Fabrics, Prince George’s County Park Senior & Recreation Center and more, as well as co/owner of Sew Creative Lounge since 2017. Her mission is to teach the world to sew, one stitch at a time.
