Robert J. Bosscher

Individual Member, Michigan

Robert is a quilter and artist who often struggles to know what that means. He currently lives and works in West Michigan, and has a deep love of Art, art History, and quilting as an artform. In his own work, he is interested in ideas of transparency as well as color play and the use of neon elements. His study of Art History gives him a unique perspective that he brings to help navigate the gap between art and craft traditions. Robert has 10+ years of experience teaching, loves helping new makers explore their creative process, and finds joy encouraging students in their explorations.
