South Sarasota Modern Quilt Guild, Florida
Bridget Pasternak grew up in her mom’s scrap fabric bin. When other kids were playing soccer or learning the flute, she went to kids sewing lessons in a neighbor lady’s attic.
Bridget is the President of South Sarasota MQG and loves the community of her guild. She is a collector of vintage sewing machines and enjoys thinking about the people who once owned these machines and what they sewed with them. Her quilts have hung at QuiltCon, the Ringling Museum of Art, and in the living rooms of friends and family.
Bridget lives in Florida with her husband, 3 kids, 4 cats, and 11 sewing machines.
