Sharon Nicholls-Thomson

Wollongong Modern Quilt Guild, New South Wales, Australia

A maker since her teens with two degrees in Visual Arts Education, Sharon has designed and taught patchwork for 18 years. She runs a fabric business, organises events and travels to teach; including at Festival of Quilts, The EPM in France and AQC in Australia. Sharon has had designs published in magazines, judges quilt shows and has had a quilt hung at QuiltCon. Sharon makes modern and traditional quilts for guild shows and exhibits textile art pieces in non-quilt contexts. Sharon is the VP of Wollongong MQG and is on the committee establishing a National Modern Quilt Show in Australia.
